Chapter 1: SaigeDev

SaigeDev, ZelzNET's lead development director, is one of the main reasons it isn't a great server.
My first encounter with SaigeDev, is when they requested for me to takedown some code that they wrote. I was not informed before that this code wasn't even allowed to be hosted, and after this they just started downtalking me.
"no good, or even decent webmaster lets a user host Copyrighted Code"
is a message that got sent after they entered a conversation on "WebMC has 60+ partners", started by a former WebMC Sr. Admin. The ironic part about this though, is how they are a webmaster for a ton of popular eaglercraft websites hosting code copyrighted by microsoft. How convenient that they can host someone else's copyrighted code, but nobody else can host their "copyrighted" code.
"No supporting colb"
On January 8th, 2025, I did a really dumb thing and got nuked from the mainstream eaglercraft community, which is a corruption story for another time. The thing here though, is I started to get harassed by a few of those members of the community and it really hurt me. This created the following copypasta:
I support Colbster937! ... And so should you! Background: He has been suffering from being harassed by a ton of people. Send the following message into the announcements of any eagler related server you are in: @(any ping) We support Colbster937! 🫶 ❤️
This was sent to a ton of servers, and really helped me feel better. Though, when it got sent in Astra Client's discord the response the sender got was really just a selfish move.
"WILL be blocking your origin from accessing Astra 1.5 when patch 1 releases"
So now you're saying that I cant add javascript to MY OWN SITE that redirects websockets?
After searching for this so-called "TOS", I found nothing.
(for context, in the announcements channel of a discord server after astra 1.5 released I said that I changed it from joining ZelzNET to join my server, WebMC)
What's even funnier is that in November before this, the main dev, Barney, stated that you ARE allowed to edit the source.
(this is the only part that may be a little bit in my favor, as yes it does say for removing the image. the important thing is that he says we are allowed to edit the source)
"im gonna guess thats something shaun, zumbie, or colb made"
Immediately after hearing something that sounds skidded, they throw out my and a few other's names. I have no idea what this "EagXOffline" is.
"SaigeDEV no longer works at Astra Client"
which is pretty crazy to say, considering their roles
(yes, the image is cropped to protect the identity of the screenshotter. the roles are legit though)
"oh fr i hate that git"
After a skid created "EaglercraftZ" (literally just EaglyMC but changed 2 lines to steal the project), it was pointed out that they got the source code from my gitea. When saigedev heard this, the first thing they say is "oh fr i hate that git", and when asked why they answer "psure ive had to issue two takedowns to it." Yes, as covered before, he has issued ONE takedown request, and as I stated before I had no prior knowledge that this was their code. "stolen projects" is something also pretty funny to say as nothing I have ever hosted there has knowingly been stolen.
In conclusion, SaigeDev just really isn't a great person in general and most definitely contributes to how skidded and horrible their server is.
